When I say, ” something serious,” I’m talking about Pokemon. It’s not a joke.
Since it’s also Pokemon’s 20th anniversary, I thought this would be the perfect way to express my hate/love for Pokemon
Everybody and their mother used to collect Pokemon cards when they were younger. Did we have ANY idea on how to play the card game, though? Lmao, no we didn’t, we just loved collecting and trading them! I mean I was around 9 or something, what the hell do I know about card cames, come on.
Anyway, I loved collecting them and just looking at the cards. My mom didn’t really like it, since Pokemon cards weren’t really cheap.
When Pokemon Diamond and Pearl came out, I just HAD to have the DS game for it. I was so in love with the Sinoh Pokemon and the anime characters. ( Dawn, I was in love with Dawn..)
Since, the girl in the Sinoh game was Dawn, I just HAD TO HAVE THAT GAME OMG? I was so happy with it. To this day, I still don’t let my brother touch my game, because I have a very emotional connection with my Pokemon.
I trained them with LOVE AND THE HELL WITH ANBODY ELSE FIGHTING WITH THEM. I might be a little paranoid, but this is a blog where we don’t judge people am I RIGHT 🙂
After that, I kind of forgot about Pokemon. Don’t get me wrong, I watched the shit out of Diamond and Pearl ( Sinoh seasons.) After Dawn left, it wasn’t the same anymore.
Then I found out that Brock also left and that was basically the deciding factor for me, I wasn’t going to continue watching it. No matter how much I was in love with Pokemon and Ash ( he was my first love, k?) I just couldn’t watch it.
Anyhow, my love for Pokemon was, let’s call it, asleep!
UNTILL ONE FUCKING DAY A CLOSE FRIEND OF MINE BROUGHT HER POKEMON CARDS TO SCHOOL.
Originally, it was for our school project. We are making our own trading card game and we were playing all kinds of games to get inspiration. We played a lot of HeartStone at the beginning!
So, for inspiration purpose, she had brought her Pokemon cards to school. I still get very excited whenever I see something related to Pokemon, so I was very happy that she brought them to school.
Then the actual playing started. She explained the rules to me and we began fighting.
That was the moment I became obsessed with Pokemon again! In one day, she managed to wake all my childhood love for Pokemon up. I couldn’t stop playing!
Then, she told me there was more! They even had an ONLINE platform to play the card game as well.
Add me! –> Iremzz ( I’ll beat your ass )
So, guess what we are doing every single day at school? Homework? Nah, Pokemon 🙂
It didn’t stop there, though….
The rest of the groupmates were also getting obsessed with it, so we decided to go to a gamestore, because they wanted to buy their own cards to play with!
They all bought full size decks and seeing them getting so excited about buying them, I got excited as well. So what did I do? I ALSO BOUGHT SOME CARDS. And it’s terrible. The feeling of opening a pack and looking at what kinds of cards are included in your pack is addictive as hell. It just makes you high on happiness or something!
When you have shiny cards it’s just like you met your soulmate AND WHEN YOU HAVE AN EX POKEMON OR MEGA EVOLUTION CARD IT’S LIKE YOU FOUND YOUR PURPOSE IN LIFE. DON’T GET ME STARTED ON BREAK POKEMON, BECAUSE WHENEVER YOU GET THOSE, THE WORLD JUST FALLS APART.
( Please, know that this happened like 2 weeks ago. Not 5 years ago or something. We are legit uni students whom buy Pokemon cards, lmao)
I have a problem. Our whole project group has a problem. We are planning on buying a Pokemon pack which is $130. I think there are around 30 packs in one box, which means we get around 9 packs each. This has gone too far.

PS: ARE YOU GUYS ALSO EXCITED FOR POKEMON GO AND SUN & MOON????¿¿ BECAUSE I CAN’ T KEEP CALM!
